Plainsboro, NJ (January 11, 2012) – Einstein’s Alley, the private, non-profit economic development initiative for Central New Jersey, is proud to announce the addition of John E. Gagliano, Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of EPS Corporation in Tinton Falls, NJ and Stephen J. Kasser, President of SJK Communications in Fleminton, NJ as new members of the Board of Trustees.
Prior to joining EPS in 2002, a privately-held communications, logistics and systems integration company with over 550 employees, Mr. Gagliano was a partner in a Virginia law firm and had previously been a Congressional legislative assistant for defense, foreign and veterans affairs. He graduated from Brown University and the Georgetown University Law Center.
Mr. Gagliano is currently serving as Chairman and Member, Monmouth County Workforce Investment Board (WIB), Chairman, WIB Fort Monmouth Employment and Retention Committee, Member, Governance Committee, NJ State Employment and Training Commission (SETC) and a member of the Board of Directors, Monmouth-Ocean Development Council (MODC).
Dr. Kasser, a former college educator and currently a marketing and public relations consultant, earned his Ph.D. with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. He used his background in communications theory to design and implement an issues management system for a 35-person corporate communications department at a major utility. Dr. Kasser was also the editor for the utility’s main communication channel to customers, its newsletter, winning eight awards for writing and editing.
He developed a content modeling system used in publicity campaigns, investor relations programs, community relations programs and employee communications programs. The system recently helped a New Jersey school district turn a 3/2 defeat into a 2/1 victory in a referendum concerning a $30 million school expansion bond issue.

Wagman, Technology Management Associates and Entrepreneur-in-Residence, NJIT Enterprise Development Center; and Richard C. Woodbridge, patent attorney, Fox Rothschild, LLP.
Richard J. Pinto, Princeton Managing Shareholder, Stevens and Lee P.C. is the Corporate Secretary. Anne Eby, CPA is Treasurer. Katherine Kish, Executive Director and President of Market Entry, Inc. serves as an ex-officio member of the Board.
Retiring from the Board are Robert Giordano, President, RFG Inc. and former Research Chief, Fort Monmouth and Marguerite L. Mount, CPA, CGW, Managing Director of The Mercadien Group.
Einstein’s Alley’s job is to attract, build and retain technology-based businesses in its five county Central New Jersey region. Einstein’s Alley collaborates and coordinates with existing governmental and private organizations to grow the region as a magnet for entrepreneurial activity and as a globally recognized economic powerhouse.
Einstein’s Alley, a 501C4, is currently raising awareness through presentations, STEM gatherings and municipal signs designating the high tech corridor at key locations; fostering more entrepreneurial funding in New Jersey as well as looking at issues surrounding immigration and employment.
